There are many attractions close to Brakes
Coppice Park for everyone. The world famous Battle Abbey and 1066 battlefield is
only two miles away in the historic town of Battle.
An audio tour guides you through the abbey ruins and exhibitions with also plenty to
entertain the children.
Near- by is the by-gone age experience museum, Yesterday's World and Medieval buildings.
Also nearby is Hastings where there is a shopping centre, Sealife centre and theatres.
Herstmonceux and Bodium Castles are close-by and all the attractions of Rye, Eastbourne
and Brighton are within a few miles drive away.
The main London- Hastings railway link passes through Crowhurst and day tickets to London
are available through the local railway station.
Two pubs are within walking distance from Brakes Coppice Park that welcome families and
serve good food. Other good restaurants and pubs can be found close by.
