LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Brakes Coppice Park is close to Battle, Hastings and Bexhill, which have all the main attractions that seaside towns have to offer. Battle is famous for the 1066 story with its abbey, other attractions and walks.

In and around the 1066 Country, there are many Tourist Attractions and a great number of events throughout the year.  All are accessible by car while others are only a short train journey away (trains to Hastings are 11 minutes and to Battle 4 minutes from Crowhurst).

There are also two local pubs that serve food one mile from the campsite.  Below is a picture of the views on offer on the walk to one of the pubs

Local walks

Within Crowhurst, there are many different countryside walks.
10 minutes walk from the campsite is a stunning RSPB reserve but also the ‘Crowhurst Walk’.  Come and speak to the Wardens in reception about the other long and short walks in the area. Below is a view from our private lane.
